How to get started

How to get started with Preschoolearn

The whole route, start to finish: what you can open without an account at all, how to pick a plan and create your account, what each step of the payment screen asks for, and how renewing, cancelling and the money-back guarantee work. Pick the path that matches you — you don’t have to read all of it.

Free topics and printables

Part of the library is open to everyone. You don’t need to register or sign in — you just need to narrow the search.

  1. Open the Finder

Go to the Finder — it searches every topic on the site.

  2. Tick the free categories

The filters sit in the Filters column to the left of the results. Under Category, tick Free topics and Free Printables. The list refreshes as you go.

Above the results there’s a Filters button — tap it and the panel slides in from the side. Under Category, tick Free topics and Free Printables, then close the panel to see the results.

The Finder on a phone with the filter panel slid in from the side, showing the Category group of tick boxes including Free topics and Free Printables.
The number beside a category is how many results it still holds once your other filters are applied. Categories at zero are greyed out.
  3. Open it and print

Click any result. A free topic opens in full — lesson plans for both age groups and the printable worksheets that go with them.

A free topic open on a computer: lesson plans listed for Older children and Younger children, and below them a Free printable worksheets section with three worksheet previews. What a members’ lesson plan looks like before you subscribe

Open a paid lesson plan while signed out and you’ll see its summary, then a card in place of the plan itself. Nothing is hidden about what it costs to get in — the card links straight to the plans.

Pick a plan

There is one level of access, offered in two currencies. Pick the one that matches where you are — everything else about the two plans is identical. Current prices are always on Plans & pricing; this page describes how the plans work, not what they cost today.

The two Premium plans compared

Premium USDUS dollars — Americas & worldwide Full access to all lesson scenarios · printable teaching aids included · topics for the whole preschool year
Premium EUREuros — Europe

Both plans are monthly subscriptions. They renew and are charged automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account — there is no minimum term and nothing to phone up about.

Path B · step 2 of 2

Create your account and pay

You don’t create an account separately — it’s made as you subscribe, on the same screen. If you’d rather use your Facebook or Google account, sign in with it first and the checkout will skip the account step.

Option a) Facebook or Google

Open Sign in and choose Continue with Facebook or Continue with Google. The same buttons create an account and sign in to an existing one, so there’s nothing to register beforehand. The first time round, Facebook or Google will ask you to sign in and to allow us your email address.

The sign-in page on a computer: a heading reading Sign in or create an account with, buttons for Facebook and Google, then a separator and the ordinary username and password form. The sign-in page on a phone: buttons for Facebook and Google stacked above the ordinary username and password form.
Below the form there are links to register and to reset a forgotten password.
On a phone

If you opened the site from inside the Facebook or Instagram app, social sign-in won’t work in their built-in browser. You’ll get a screen offering to Open in browser — tap it and finish signing in in Safari or Chrome. That’s one extra tap, not a fault.

Option b) An ordinary account, created as you pay

The checkout is laid out in two columns. You fill the form on the left; on the right sits Order summary — what the plan includes, the total due today, and the promo code field. That column follows you as you scroll, so the amount is never off screen.

At the top of the checkout there’s a collapsed Summary bar showing the amount — tap it to see what the plan includes. The form is below it. A bar sticks to the bottom of the screen with the amount and the pay button, so you never have to scroll to the end to pay.

The checkout on a phone: a collapsed Summary bar with the amount, a Have a promo code link, reassurances about the guarantee and encrypted payment, and a sticky bar at the bottom with the pay button.
The same column carries the promo code field and the guarantee, so you don’t have to expand anything to find them.

On Plans & pricing each plan has a Choose button that takes you straight to the checkout. From there it’s three steps — the numbers below are the ones you’ll see on screen.

  1. Step “Your account”

Fill in Username, Password (twice) and Email Address (twice).

Step one of the checkout on a computer: Username, then Password with a Show Password link and Confirm Password, then Email Address and Confirm Email Address. Step one of the checkout on a phone: Username, Password, Confirm Password, Email Address and Confirm Email Address stacked one below the other.
An asterisk marks a required field. “Show Password” lets you check what you’ve typed.

Check the email address twice. Your receipt and every later message go to it.

Errors appear under the field they belong to, so there’s nothing to hunt for at the top of the page.

Errors appear under the field they belong to — tap the pay button and the page scrolls to the first one that needs fixing.

Already registered? Use the Already have an account? Log in here link at the top of the form.

  2. Step “Payment method”

Two choices, and you pay on the provider’s own secure page either way — your card details never reach us.

    • Card or digital wallet — Visa, Mastercard and American Express, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link where your device offers them. Selected by default.
    • PayPal — pay with your PayPal balance or a linked card.
Step two of the checkout on a computer: two payment tiles, Card or digital wallet with card and wallet logos and selected by default, and PayPal below it, plus a note that Stripe's secure page opens next. Step two of the checkout on a phone: the Card or digital wallet tile selected by default and the PayPal tile below it.
Under the tiles, a line tells you exactly what happens next: the secure page opens, and your access opens the moment the payment is confirmed.
  3. Step “Confirm & pay”

Three tick boxes are required, one is optional:

    • Site Terms of Service — required.
    • This plan is a subscription that renews and is charged automatically until you cancel — required.
    • Immediate access — you consent to the content being supplied straight away and acknowledge that this ends your statutory right of withdrawal. Required, and it’s what lets your access open the moment you’ve paid rather than after a waiting period.
    • Email me new lesson plans and teaching ideas — optional, skip it if you’d rather not.
Step three of the checkout on a computer: tick boxes for the Site Terms of Service, for understanding the plan is an automatically renewing subscription, for consenting to immediate supply and losing the right of withdrawal, and an optional newsletter box. Step three of the checkout on a phone: the same four tick boxes stacked one below the other.
The withdrawal box, in plain terms

Ticking it gives up the statutory 14-day cooling-off period that applies to digital content — that’s the trade for getting the lesson plans immediately instead of waiting. It does not give up our own 14-day money-back guarantee, which we grant separately and voluntarily.

Then press Subscribe. The secure payment page opens, and once the payment is confirmed you’re brought back here with access already switched on.

Once you’ve paid

Access opens immediately, a receipt goes to your email address, and your subscription, invoices and cancel button all live on your Profile page.

Afterwards

Renewing, cancelling and refunds

Everything about your subscription is on your Profile page: which plan you’re on, when it renews, your invoices, and the link to cancel.

The Profile page on a computer with the membership card highlighted: the current plan, its billing details and the links to change or cancel it. The Profile page on a phone with the membership card highlighted: the current plan, its billing details and the links to change or cancel it.
  • Renewing happens on its own, once a month, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for — you keep access until then, and you’re not charged again.
  • Invoices for every payment are listed on the same page.
14-day money-back guarantee

We refund your first subscription payment within 14 days without asking why. Just write to us — Contact.

The guarantee applies once per customer and to the first purchase only. It does not cover later automatic renewals: if a renewal is charged after you meant to cancel, get in touch anyway and we’ll sort it out. The full wording is in the Refund Policy.

If something doesn’t go to plan

Common questions

Which plan do I choose — USD or EUR?

Whichever currency suits you; the access is identical. Premium EUR is aimed at Europe and Premium USD at the Americas and everywhere else. If your card is in a third currency, your bank converts it either way, so pick the one closer to home.

I paid, but the page is still waiting

Give it a moment — the confirmation can lag by a few seconds and the page picks it up on its own. Don’t pay a second time.

If nothing has happened after a few minutes, check your email (spam folder included) — the receipt arrives regardless of what the screen shows. If that’s empty too, tell us and include the time you paid.

Signing in with Facebook or Google doesn’t work on my phone

Usually this means the site was opened from inside the Facebook or Instagram app, whose built-in browser doesn’t support social sign-in. You’ll be offered an Open in browser button — tap it and finish in Safari or Chrome.

You can always create an ordinary account with a username and password instead.

Do I lose my refund rights by ticking the “immediate access” box?

You give up the statutory cooling-off period for digital content — that’s what allows the lesson plans to be handed over straight away. Our own 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription is separate and still stands. See the Refund Policy.

How do I cancel?

From your Profile page, whenever you like. Access runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, and nothing is charged after that.

Can I get an invoice?

Every payment is listed on your Profile page with an invoice you can open and print. Need different details on it? Write to us.

I’ve forgotten my password

On the sign-in page, below the form, there’s a link to reset it. The link to set a new password goes to the email address on your account.

How do I find lesson plans for a particular week?

The Calendar lays the topics out across the preschool year, and the Finder searches everything by category and age group.
