They will practice manual skills by coring the pumpkins for seeds and creating a group artwork from them, take part in a mathematical game based on a “Five little pumpkins” song and help to cook pumpkin soup.

Healthy Habits – Younger Children – Taking Care of Myself
Preschoolers will test their theoretical knowledge about caring for health during the “True-False” game. They will practice and consolidate the correct habits and behaviors by performing a set of yoga exercises, preparing healthy finger food, as well as preparing clothes for a walk on their own.

Preschoolers will solve a few clothing riddles and practice dividing the words into syllables. They will learn to choose clothes according to the weather conditions and learn the second part of a song entitled “Healthy habits”.

Preschoolers will listen to a poem entitled “The Food Pyramid” which is a good introduction to talk about healthy and unhealthy food. During didactic and movement activities, they will classify the products according to their impact on our bodies and they will make colorful and healthy sandwiches on their own.

Preschoolers, while performing a movement experience, will consider how movement affects our well-being and health. They will also talk about sports and physical activities that can be practiced in the fall. They will learn to distinguish direction through didactic and movement activities and they will dance and sing movement songs.
Healthy Habits – Younger Children – Personal Hygiene
Preschoolers will listen to a story entitled “Meet Bacteria”, which is an excellent introduction to conversations about taking care of personal hygiene. They will take part in the “Ah-choo!” experiment that will allow them to see how easily bacteria and viruses spread. They will listen to the short song entitled “The Sneeze Song” and will also do the “Germs” art work.
