Older Children

Kindergarteners will celebrate International Puzzle Day. They will practice matching based on one feature, and make their own jigsaw puzzles. They will learn the last part of "My doll" song and develop agility and physical fitness by doing a set of gymnastic exercises.

Kindergarteners will celebrate International Lego Day and they will build and overcome an obstacle course made of bricks with their own hands. They will build the tallest towers as they can, design bridges, and make "Which blocks is the tower made of?" worksheets.

Kindergarteners will take part in theatre activities. They will develop their imagination by putting together a fairy tale, illustrating a poem with movement, practicing their diction with a real actor, and learning the next stanzas of "My doll" song.

Kindergarteners will present drawings that they have made together with their parents, and talk about their parent's favorite childhood games. They will talk about dolls, start to learn 'My doll' song, and make their doll, which they will use to create a shadow puppet theatre.

Kindergarteners will learn about games from different parts of the world and they will play those games. They will also make their own 'Enchoque', which is a Bolivian toy and they will practice their motor coordination using it. They will be given homework to do together with their parents.

Kindergarteners will watch ‘Jobs and occupations’ video and think about who they want to be when they grow up. They will create ‘Hairdresser’, ‘Cook’, ‘Police officers’, 'Firefighters' or 'Doctors' artwork and develop their agility and physical fitness by doing a set of keep fit exercises.

Kindergarteners will do a jigsaw depicting jobs that they can see on television and think about traits that these people should have. Children will also pretend they are journalists and learn the second part of ‘Who I want to be’ song.

Kindergartener will learn about professions related to food and cooking and try to guess the names of kitchen accessories and their sounds. They will make ‘Jobs’ worksheets and bake healthy cookies.

Kindergarteners will solve the riddles about services they can find in a city. They will search for objects following the teacher’s instructions and practise using scissors during an artistic activity. Children will also practise their mathematical skills using coins and banknotes.

Kindergarteners will listen to a story entitled ‘The super jobs’ and wonder what is work and what jobs they know. They will talk about jobs that are close to nature such as farmer, forester, and gardener, and also start to learn ‘Who I want to be’ song.
