Once upon a time – Older Children – Prehistoric forest
Kindergarteners will talk about the prehistoric forest. They will get to know how carbon was made. Kids also will make their fossils and pictures painted with carbon.

Kindergarteners will celebrate Dinosaur Day and will make an experiment with measuring, which will show them the huge sizes of dinosaurs. They will take part in other math activities – they will practice classifying by a specific feature, sorting by size, recounting and comparing the number of collections. They will make a dinosaur out of paper and cartons.
Children will get to know hypotheses of the extinction of dinosaurs and words: paleontology and paleontologist. They will become paleontologists – they will look for and clean from the sand ‘dinosaurs bones’ and they will make skeletons out of them.
Kindergarteners will get to know about a few prehistoric reptiles – their appearance, names, characteristics and food preferences. They will practice recognizing the numbers and letters, chunking and connecting difficult names of dinosaurs from the letters. They will also learn a song entitled ‘10 little dinosaurs’.
Children will celebrate the World Bee Day. They will watch an animated story entitled ‘Save the bees’ which will be an excellent introduction to practical activities: building a bee hotel and planting honey flowers.
Kindergarteners will get to know interesting facts about the life of bees. They will develop their mathematical and language skills. They will do an artcraft entitled ‘Busy bees’. Children will also develop their dexterity in the set of gymnastic exercises and go for a walk to look for and observe the bees.
Kindergarteners will watch an animated story to know why flowers need pollens and learn the first part of a song entitled ‘Here Is The Beehive’. Children will develop their mathematical and manual skills – they will collect ‘pollen’ from the flowers and help the bees find the correct flowers.
Children will do a worksheet entitled ‘Delicious honey’ and taste various honey flavors. They will get to know about the process of making honey from a picture story entitled ‘How is honey made?’ and will watch an educational video to know how honey bees make honey. They will also learn about different products of bee origin.
Kindergarteners will start the adventure with the bees. They will find out about their hive and division of duties in the bee family. Children will learn about the life cycle of a bee – they will compose a picture story about it and make a worksheet entitled ‘From egg to the imago’. They will also learn about the body part of a bee.
